      A thermogravimetric method for testing the effective fraction of petroleum calcium sulfonate was established. The method is consistent with “effective fraction determination in the additive” of SH/T0034-90 (rubber membrane infiltration method). Its correlation coefficient is 0.9787. Precision testing indicates that this method has better repeatability.
